This past week I had the pleasure of photographing the delectable dishes prepared by Chef Danny Serfer for their PR and marketing use. This is his, and his partner, flood blogger Ryan Roman (http://miamirankings.com) first joint venture but Danny’s second restaurant. His first being the sensational Blue Collar (http://www.bluecollarmiami.com) in the MIMO district in Miami. As expected, the food was perfectly on point. The whole concept was to create a gourmet oyster bar with a dinner feel. Check out the menu at http://mignonettemiami.com. You haven’t lived till you try the Caviar Happy Hour from 5:30-6:30 M-F. Here’s some of what you can expect!
Want to see a bride in a Vera Wang dress get bucketed? ALS challenge accepted at the Marco Island Hilton Beach Resort at 1am after a 14 hour day. Many thanks for my bride, groom and the wedding party for participating. As expected, the group was predictably rowdy so thanks to Raul Flores for editing it to a PG Version! Here are some shots of this awesome couple beforehand.
Here are some selects from a recent session for Cynthia Gonzalez, the 16 year old sister of a former bride Michelle Gonzalez-Rubio. As I don’t normally do the traditional version of these, I agreed as long as I could shoot it my way. Her mom said that’s why they wanted me to do it. I’m in!
Two weeks ago Diego asked my to plan a surprise marriage proposal everyone has been waiting for, to his girlfriend Adriana. Given a wide birth for creativity, and after receiving some specific presentation guidelines, and with less than two weeks to complete, We assembled a team and devised a strategy to showcase a proposal that included: three photographers, five videographers, multiple hidden cameras and microphones, a fake news cast, two actors with a perfectly timed script, a live feed, a perfectly synced dual monitor in-proposal video message, the coordination of behind the scenes video capture from the family, the cooperation of the Ritz Carlton South Beach hotel staff, surprise appearances of family from multiple out of state destinations, and one excited and nervous groom-to-be. It all unfolded last night. It was magical. Here’s how it all went down in video and photo. Many thanks to Travis Cossel of Black Label Wedding Films for this awesome video! Big, big love to the Saltz and Perelmuter families and the biggest congrats to Diego and Adriana!
