Say Hello to Bonnie & Willem who brought all their friends and family from Tennessee to the family’s vacation home in Seagate Country Club. It was a tricky start to the day trying to guess the weather pattern for the first look and the ceremony, which was going to take place on the beach at the Seagate Beach Club. Luckily, it held out for us and we took full advantage of our surroundings. This wedding was full of sentimentality and personalized gifts and accessories. Both Bonnie and Willem put a lot of thought into every detail of this wedding, and Jackie Bressler, of Jackie Bressler Events made sure its of their continuity. The day started off at The Seagate Hotel where the families got ready and we did the first look. Next, to the Beach club for a beautiful barefoot beach ceremony on a custom make rock and moss isle that led to a branch and floral archway. The vibe of the wedding was elegant and charming, much like the couple themselves. There is an easy, mature truth to how they love each other that belies their ages. You really won’t have to look any further than Bonnie’s parents to see the example that was set for her. We captured pictures of them on the dance floor being as romantic as newlyweds. As with a good many of my weddings these days, (which I am thankful my 13 years in this business have allowed me to matriculate to) the level of deep emotional support and love from all the guests, both friends and family, makes the job I have to do fun and inspiring. I’m allowed to breach the inner walls of a family and experience their genuine state of being, and record it. I do love my job. Many thanks to, and great collaborating with, the crews from Ruben Senderey Video, RockwithU, and Daniel Events. Enjoy!!
Say hello to Stephanie & Alex who were married at the picturesque Vizcaya Museum & Gardens in Miami. Stephanie and her bridesmaid took advantage of the couple beautiful Coconut Grove home to get ready and proceed to Vizcaya to have her first look with Alex. We were battling the chance of rain all day but it held out long enough to give a stunning series of images of the these two and the grounds that only an overcast day could provide. Andi Dyal and Jen Schwartz of Anje Soirees handled the planning and coordination, and were on double speed when the decision was made last minute to move the ceremony into the covered courtyard within the museum. As the pictures show, the intimacy and informal gathering of the guests within the formal and tropical setting of the courtyard gave the couple and equally romantic setting for their moving ceremony. Anje Soiree scores again! After enjoying delectable hors d’oeuvre from famed caterer Stephan Starr at cocktail hour, the guests were greeted by a wonderfully elegant tented décor design by Xquisite Affairs with an upper and lower dance floor. And again Steven Starr wowed the guests with truly engaging selections for dinner. The band, Emerald City from Dallas, Texas, was suspended over the moat. They were the centerpiece of the reception giving us their unique character driven performance. As always, a true pleasure working with cinematographer Ray Roman and his crew. A truly collaborative experience. Enjoy!
