Kay Morrison & Joshua Kornik wanted their engagement session to be in the American Airlines Arena. Makes sense. The three of them have family history. These two are the kind that say what they mean and mean what they say. When you see Josh, ask him about my half court shot. Their wedding is next weekend at The Boca Resort and I simply cannot wait for it to happen! Enjoy
Can you image? As I normally do, the three of us went to dinner to discuss the concept of their engagement session. Watching these two interact it became clear that they had no real definition – they existed in a world all to themselves. The idea of making them appear to have existed in a time bubble played out perfectly with their personalities. The location was an incredible find and lended an authenticity to the concept.
I flew up to NYC recently to capture Lauren & Matthew in their natural environment and got some wonderful shots of them in The Meatpacking District and the West Village.
Here is Tina Beckerleg and Andre Garcia showing off a bit for their engagement session at The Sundy House in Delray. Thanks Nicole Livadas of DollFace MakeUp, Inc. for making her look perfect for this shoot! Enjoy!
My former brides will know the bride in this crazy engagement session. It’s Leia, my trusted 2nd photographer! Yup, she’s getting married. Naturally, I wouldn’t accept not doing her engagement session so it’s a good thing she asked otherwise I’d feel really stupid. Lol. On to them….I told her I wanted to do something really different. Paint filled balloons is where it went. Simple, yet elegant. Here are Leia and Jamil completely demolishing each other.
Here’s Rachel and Doug’s engagement session in Oleta River State Park. Rachel wanted this location because it was where Doug proposed and where they go to relax and be alone. I’m glad they invited me into their world. Beautiful isn’t it? Enjoy!
So Jackie, Mitchell and myself were sitting in a restaurant brainstorming about what to do for their engagement session. Being that Jackie works for the Food and Wine Festivals and Mitchell works for the sports agency that reps Heat players, I wildly suggested having a dinner table center court in the American Airlines Arena. Mitchell calmly looked at me and said “let me see what I can do”. SHUT UP!!!! So a few months later, and here are the pics from their engagement session in the arena. Thanks to Kathryn Parrish of Parrish Designs for setting up the table. Also, once again thank you to Nicole LIvades of Dollface Makeup for her fabulous job!
Meaghan Koppel & Jonathan Pallone’s E-Session Part 2! My engagement sessions are my opportunity to really get to know my clients and see all their true chemistry come out. If the idea is great, I’m down for anything! This time we took a boat ride on a custom Cigarette out to Stiltsville. Big thanks to Sean Soderholm and his crew hosting us with such class. The last shot’s for you Sean. Enjoy!
Ok Gator fans, this one is for you!! Daria Accaputo and Jose Puentes, being the Gator fanatics they are, wanted to do their engagement session in Gainesville. Me, always one to punch things up a bit, suggested we do it during a game as well!! It was a blast. I forgot how much natural beauty there is in Gainesville. The morning fog really added some quality ambiance. Also, I think we were being hunted. See if you can find it in the images…..Enjoy!!
